About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Finance Professional to support financing activities for renewable energy projects across solar, wind, hybrid, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and other clean energy technologies. The role will assist in financial analysis, project financing processes, lender coordination, financial modeling, and transaction execution throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of corporate finance, financial modeling, project evaluation, and renewable energy sector

fundamentals, with a willingness to learn and develop expertise in project finance and infrastructure financing.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Financing & Fund Raising

• Support project financing activities for renewable energy projects.
• Assist in evaluating debt-equity financing structures for greenfield and operational assets.
• Coordinate with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, and lenders during fundraising activities.
• Support debt raising, refinancing exercises, and working capital financing processes.
• Assist in preparing financing proposals, information memorandums, and lender presentations.
• Develop and maintain project finance models under the guidance of senior team members.
• Conduct financial analysis, sensitivity analysis, and scenario modeling.
• Assist in evaluating project feasibility, DSCR, IRR, NPV, and project returns.
• Monitor project financial performance against approved budgets and business cases.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and management presentations.
• Support lender due diligence processes and coordinate with technical, legal, insurance, and environmental consultants.
• Assist in reviewing financing documentation, loan agreements, and covenant requirements.
• Track financing milestones and support timely achievement of financial closure.
• Maintain transaction records and financing-related documentation.

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with project development, engineering, legal, commercial, tax, and compliance teams.
• Support communication and information-sharing between project teams and financing partners.
• Assist in identifying financial and project-related risks.
• Support compliance with financing agreements and reporting obligations.
• Track covenant requirements and lender reporting schedules.
• Stay updated on renewable energy market developments, regulations, and financing trends.
• Monitor project performance and debt servicing requirements.
• Assist in evaluating refinancing opportunities and financing cost optimization initiatives.
• Support financial analysis related to acquisitions, asset sales, and portfolio management activities.

Learning & Team Support

• Collaborate with senior project finance professionals on ongoing transactions and strategic initiatives.
• Support preparation of investment committee materials and management reports.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Continuously develop expertise in renewable energy financing, financial modeling, and infrastructure finance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in project finance, corporate finance, infrastructure finance, investment banking, financial advisory, or renewable energy.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Understanding of project finance concepts, valuation techniques, and financial statement analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, power, or related sectors will be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to renewable energy financing, infrastructure projects, or investment analysis.
• Knowledge of debt financing structures, financial ratios, and lender requirements.
• Familiarity with project finance models and transaction processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with strong attention to detail.
