Job summary

Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited seeks a Manager - Asset Monitoring & Analysis to lead oversight of wind, solar, hybrid and energy storage assets. You will monitor performance, coordinate with sites and O&M teams, and report to management on efficiency, downtime and regulatory issues.

The role requires strong data analysis, familiarity with SCADA, and the ability to translate complex metrics into clear visuals; travel to sites and DISCOM offices may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily energy generation and performance of wind, solar, hybrid, and BESS assets.
• Use SCADA and remote sensing to assess real-time performance.
• Coordinate with sites, plants, and O&M agencies; report on performance, breakdowns, shutdowns, despatch and regulatory issues.
• Analyze Plant Load Factor, Performance Ratio, Degradation, wind speeds, and solar irradiation on daily, monthly, and yearly bases; spot variances and take corrective actions.
• Stay abreast of state and central regulations and policies (GERC, CERC, CEA, GEDA, EDP Gujarat) for open access and green energy.
• Coordinate with O&M to minimize downtime and maximize peak generation; track outages and restoration.
• Plan and maintain essential spares inventory with O&M; report real vs projected yields with clear visuals.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify equipment and liaise with DISCOM for billing.

Job Purpose

• Monitor daily energy generation and performance of all wind, solar, hybrid, BESS assets supplying energy to various consumption plants ? Use SCADA and other remote sensing platforms to gauge the performance on a real time basis. ? Coordinate with sites, plants, O&M agencies and report to the management under performance, breakdowns, shutdowns, curtailments, losses, despatch and regulatory issues. ? Analyse Plant Load Factors, Performance Ratios, Degradation, Wind Speeds, Solar irradiation on a daily, monthly and yearly basis. Spot the variance and take necessary steps to set them right where possible. ? Be fully aware and abreast of state and central regulations and policies, GERC, CERC, CEA, GEDA, EDP Gujarat etc. with respect to open access, green energy, C&I etc ? Closely coordinate with O&M with respect to scheduled and preventive maintenance, minimise downtime, maximise peak season generation while minimising generating and transmission equipment. Closely track break downs and expedite restoration. ? Plan and maintain essential spares inventory with O&M agencies ? Daily analyse real vs projected yields and report in easy to grasp tables, graphics. ? Regular site visits to interact with teams and physically verify generating equipment, substations, lines etc. ? Visit to DISCOM offices to ensure billing and settlement is appropriately done.
