We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Asset Monitoring Engineer to support real-time performance monitoring and operational efficiency of renewable energy assets. The role involves tracking plant performance, identifying anomalies, coordinating with field teams, and ensuring maximum asset availability through data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of solar power plant operations
• Power BI
• Hands‑on experience with SCADA systems, monitoring platforms, or energy management systems
• Understanding of KPIs such as PR, CUF, availability and losses
• Data Analysis
• Tableau

Responsibilities

• Monitor real‑time and historical performance of solar power plants using SCADA and monitoring tools
• Identify performance deviations, alarms, and faults; initiate corrective actions
• Coordinate with OEM, O&M and field teams for timely resolution of breakdowns and performance issues
• Analyze generation data, PR, CUF, availability, and losses
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance RCA and downtime reports
• Track inverter, string, feeder, and grid‑related issues
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, internal benchmarks, and safety standards
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) for repeated failures or underperformance
• Maintain accurate documentation and logs for all monitored assets
• Assist in improving monitoring processes and automation initiatives
