About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Asset Manager to oversee end-to-end performance of assigned solar projects encompassing billing, scheduled maintenance, corrective maintenance, spares management, liaison etc. The role requires strong technical expertise in solar plant operations, performance monitoring, preventive maintenance planning, and asset optimization to ensure maximum plant availability and generation efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor day-to-day operations of solar power plants to ensure maximum uptime and generation efficiency
- Ensure monthly JMR, billing and invoice generation for each asset
- Track plant KPIs including PR (Performance Ratio), CUF, generation trends, inverter performance, and energy losses
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for solar assets
- Coordinate with site engineers, O&M contractors, EPC teams, and vendors for smooth plant operations
- Review SCADA data, inverter logs, and operational reports on a daily basis
- Prepare MIS reports, performance dashboards, generation analysis, and management presentations
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory regulations, and operational compliance requirements
- Conduct periodic site inspections, audits, and safety reviews
- Manage O&M contractors and vendor performance to ensure SLA compliance
- Support project handover activities from EPC to O&M teams
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge of Solar PV systems, inverters, SCADA, transformers, HT/LT systems, and plant operations
- Hands-on experience in Solar Plant O&M and Asset Management
- Good understanding of PR analysis, CUF monitoring, generation forecasting, and energy yield optimization
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Expertise in MS Excel, reporting tools, and operational MIS preparation
- Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Renewable Energy Engineering
- Additional certifications in Solar Energy or O&M Management will be an added advantage
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with relevant experience in Solar O&M and Asset Management will be highly preferred
- 57 years of experience in Solar Power Projects, preferably in utility-scale or rooftop solar plants
- Prior experience with Solar EPC companies, IPPs, Renewable Energy Developers, or O&M service providers preferred
