Job summary

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance is seeking a highly motivated Manager – Business Development & Partnerships for the West Zone. You will identify and onboard strategic partners across banks, NBFCs, fintechs, wealth platforms, and corporates to drive growth through innovative distribution models.

You will lead deal structuring, financial modeling, and end-to-end partnership execution, coordinating with legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure aligned objectives and scalable partnerships.

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent in Marketing/Finance/Strategy.
• Experience in Life Insurance, Banking, NBFC, Fintech, or Wealth Management preferred.
• Strong networking and influencing ability.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities across banks, NBFCs, fintechs, wealth platforms, and large corporates in the West Zone.
• Develop and present customized partnership proposals, financial models, and business plans.
• Manage end-to-end partner onboarding and deal execution, coordinating with legal, compliance, and finance to finalize documentation.

KeyResponsibilities

1. Business Development & Partnerships

• Identify and evaluate potential partnershipopportunities across banks, NBFCs, fintechs, wealth platforms, and largecorporates in the West Zone.
• Develop and present customized partnershipproposals, financial models, and business plans.
• Manage the end-to-end process from opportunityidentification to partner onboarding.
• Create and present business cases to internalstakeholders for approvals.

2. Strategic Deal Structuring

• Negotiate commercial terms, partnership models,and business arrangements.
• Coordinate with legal, compliance, and financeteams to finalize documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure partnerships align with organizationalobjectives and deliver sustainable business growth.

3. Market Intelligence & RegionalOpportunity Mapping

• Continuously scan the West Zone market forpotential partners and emerging trends.
• Monitor competitor alliances, digitalpartnerships, and distribution innovations.
• Build and maintain strong external networksacross financial services and related ecosystems.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with internal teams includingproduct, marketing, operations, and technology for partner enablement.
• Drive internal coordination to ensure smoothgo-live and partner servicing.
• Transition matured alliances to relationshipmanagement teams for ongoing engagement and scaling.

• Number and quality of new partnerships onboardedin the West Zone.

DesiredCandidate Profile

• Education MBA orequivalent (preferably in Marketing, Finance, or Strategy).
• Experience 3-5 years
• IndustryExposure Life Insurance / Banking / NBFC / Fintech / WealthManagement / Mutual Funds.
• Networkingand influencing ability.
• Strategicthinking and commercial acumen.
