Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of Category II AIF structures and alt investments.
• Experience in Real Estate PE/Real Estate AIF fundraising is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• MBA Finance, CA, CFA, or equivalent preferred.

Job Description – Associate, AIF Fund Raising & Investor Relations

Position: Manager – AIF Fund Raising

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 5 – 7 Years

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced AIF Fund Raising professional to drive capital mobilisation, investor acquisition and relationship management for a Category II Alternative Investment Fund focused on real estate and alternative investments.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in fundraising, strong investor relationships and the ability to independently generate and convert investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fund Raising & Capital Mobilisation:

• Drive fundraising initiatives for Category II AIF and alternative investment strategies.
• Identify, approach and onboard potential investors, including Family Offices, HNIs/UHNIs, Institutional Investors and Wealth Management Platforms.
• Build and manage a strong investor pipeline to achieve fundraising targets.
• Drive investor commitments and successful capital closures.

2. Investor Acquisition & Relationship Management:

• Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international investors.
• Conduct investor meetings, presentations and follow-ups to secure capital commitments.
• Build strategic relationships with Private Banks, Wealth Managers, Family Offices and Distribution Partners.
• Manage existing investor relationships and identify opportunities for additional investments.

3. Business Development & Fund Positioning:

• Identify new fundraising opportunities and investor channels.
• Prepare and deliver investor presentations, pitch decks and investment proposals.
• Effectively communicate fund strategies, investment opportunities and return expectations.
• Track market trends, investor preferences and competing alternative investment products.

4. Fundraising Execution & Coordination:

• Coordinate investor due diligence, documentation, onboarding and closure processes.
• Work closely with investment, finance, legal and compliance teams.
• Maintain fundraising MIS, investor pipeline reports and management updates.
• Ensure compliance with applicable SEBI AIF regulations.

Candidate Profile:

• 5 – 7 years of relevant experience in AIF Fund Raising, Private Equity Fund Raising, Alternative Investments or Institutional Investor Relations.
• Proven track record of capital mobilisation, investor acquisition and fundraising closures.
• Strong network of Family Offices, HNIs/UHNIs, Institutional Investors and Wealth Management Firms.
• Good understanding of Category II AIF structures, alternative investment products and fundraising processes.
• Experience in Real Estate Private Equity / Real Estate AIF fundraising will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• MBA (Finance), CA, CFA or equivalent qualification preferred.
