Qualifications

• Effective communication with cross-functional teams and rural micro-entrepreneurs.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and MS Office for reporting.

Role Description The Manager Agri Input will oversee the planning, procurement, and distribution of agricultural inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and irrigation solutions for farmers within the AgTech Agri network. This full-time on-site role, based in Samastipur, involves coordinating with suppliers, rural micro-entrepreneurs, and internal teams to ensure timely availability, quality assurance, and cost-effective input management. The role includes monitoring inventory levels, forecasting demand, and implementing input-related strategies aligned with the company’s PhysiTech Model and marketplace initiatives. The Manager Agri Input will conduct field visits, support farmer outreach programs, provide product knowledge and advisory support, and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards. The position also requires tracking performance metrics, preparing reports, and contributing to continuous process improvement for agri input operations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of agricultural inputs, cropping patterns, and farm practices, particularly in regional contexts similar to Samastipur.
• Experience in agri input management, agri retail, supply chain, or agri-business operations.
• Ability to manage vendors and distributors, including negotiation, relationship building, and performance monitoring.
• Skills in demand forecasting, inventory management, and basic data analysis for operational decision-making.
• Comfort working closely with farmers and rural stakeholders, with strong field engagement and advisory capabilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and rural micro-entrepreneurs.
• Proficiency in using digital tools, mobile applications, and basic MS Office for reporting and coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Rural Management, or a related field; a postgraduate degree is an added advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on-site, handle multiple priorities, and adapt to dynamic field conditions.
• Prior experience in technology-enabled agri platforms or marketplace models is a plus.
