Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India is seeking a Manager US Accounting to lead a team delivering end-to-end accounting services for US clients from Hyderabad. The role requires hands-on QuickBooks proficiency and strong client management capabilities.

You will oversee Bookkeeping, AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and month-end close, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP. Excellent English communication and leadership are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team handling end-to-end accounting activities for US clients.
• Own the overall accounting process including Bookkeeping, AP, AR, GL, Bank Reconciliations, Journal Entries and Month-End Close.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and reviewing accounting transactions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for US clients for accounting-related matters.
• Review the team's work for accuracy, compliance with accounting standards.
• Plan and allocate work across the team and ensure timely deliverables.
• Conduct regular team reviews, provide feedback and coach team members.
• Take ownership of team performance, productivity and quality metrics.
• Identify process gaps and drive improvements and standardization.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities and ensure timely reporting.
• Handle escalations and resolve complex accounting issues independently.
• Work closely with US stakeholders and demonstrate strong client management and communication skills.

We are looking for a Manager US Accounting with strong end-to-end accounting expertise and extensive hands-on experience with QuickBooks and US clients. The ideal candidate should have the ability to independently manage client relationships, lead a team of accounting professionals, review deliverables, and ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting activities.
