Job summary

Micro Precise Tubes Tech is seeking a senior engineer to drive product and process development for tubular components and hose assemblies in Pune. You will review drawings and BOMs, validate manufacturing feasibility, and coordinate across Production, Quality, Purchase, Tool Room, Suppliers, and Customers.

The role emphasizes APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, and IATF 16949 with leadership in prototype development and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field with 8–15 years' experience in tubular components and automotive manufacturing.
• Experience with APQP/PPAP, PFMEA and IATF 16949 quality systems.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products per customer drawings and specifications.
• Review drawings, BOM, GD&T, and manufacturing feasibility.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, Tool Room, Suppliers and Customers.
• Develop manufacturing processes for Tube Cutting, Deburring, Beading, End Forming, Flaring, CNC Bending, Welding, Crimping & Assembly, Laser Marking, Leak Testing.
• Lead prototype development, process validation, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA and engineering changes.

Job description

Support new product development for Tubular Components & Hose Assemblies, ensuring successful execution from RFQ to SOP while meeting customer requirements for Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD), and timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new products as per customer drawings and specifications.
• Review drawings, BOM, GD&T, and manufacturing feasibility.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, Tool Room, Suppliers, and Customers.
• Develop manufacturing processes for Tube Cutting, Deburring, Beading, End Forming, Flaring, 3 & 5 Axis CNC Bending, Drilling, Press Fit, Spot/TIG/MIG/Orbital Welding, Hose Cutting, Crimping & Assembly, Roller Beading, Laser Marking, Hydro Testing, Ultrasonic Cleaning, Flushing, and Leak Testing.
• Lead prototype development, process validation, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and engineering changes.
• Validate products using 3D Laser Measurement, VMM, Millipore Test, NAS Testing, and Hydro/Leak Testing.
• Support continuous improvement, cost reduction, and new product launch activities.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Automobile Engineering.
• 8-15 years of experience in Tubular Components, Tube Bending, Hose Assemblies, Hydraulic Tubes, or Automotive Manufacturing.
