Job summary

Leading Manufacturing House seeks an experienced HR professional to manage end-to-end HR activities within manufacturing operations. The role focuses on recruitment, training, employee relations, and policy compliance to support production teams.

You will design and implement training programs, manage performance development, ensure labour law compliance, maintain records, and drive engagement while safeguarding a safe working environment. Experience in plant settings is preferred.

• Plan emergency training and conduct mock drills; perform internal audits.

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee the recruitment process, from identifying needs to onboarding, ensuring timely hiring to meet operational demands.


• Design and implement training programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and performance, including performance management and development strategies


• Foster and maintain positive employee relations by promptly addressing queries and concerns while facilitating effective communication between management and employees.


• Ensure adherence to labour laws and company policies to uphold a fair and safe working environment.


• Conduct exit interviews and analyse the results to improve retention strategies.


• Support the development and execution of employee engagement initiatives.


• Maintain employee records and HR documentation


• Ensure compliance with local, state and environmental regulations bodies.


• Ensure proper PPE in workplace.


• Train workforce to prepare against any emergency like fire, shot circuit, medical emergency etc.


• Conduct mock drill on timely intervals.


• Conduct internal HSE audit (with guidance) and maintain appropriate records.


• Undertake other duties as assigned

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resources Administration, or a related field.


• 8+ years of relevant experience in an HR role in a manufacturing or plant environment.


• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
