Role & responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly Profit & Loss statements and ensuring timely monthly financial closure in SAP.
• Assist in finalisation of financial statements, including preparation of notes to accounts.
• Handle income tax notices and assessment matters, including preparation of replies, coordination with consultants, and ensuring timely compliance with statutory requirements.
• Ensure endtoend Tax Audit compliance under Section 44AB, including preparation and review of Form 3CD, verification of books, TDS/GST reconciliations, statutory disallowances, and timely coordination for smooth audit completion.
• Handle endtoend documentation, application, tracking, compliance, and reconciliation of Central and State Government subsidy schemes, ensuring timely submission and accurate fulfilment of eligibility requirements.
• Manage TDS (other than salary) including deduction, verification, and compliance.
• Carry out quarterly reconciliation of Form 26AS with books of accounts. Perform accurate calculation of license fees as per applicable terms and guidelines.
• Oversee complete export portfolio including BRC accounting, EPCG/AA license, RoDTEP/Duty Drawback/IGST refunds, bank lodgment, government incentive data, Tea Board filing, and GSTR1 export data. Handle investment accounting for share and mutual fund purchase and sale transactions.
• Oversee accounting, compliance, and operations of Trusts.
• Handle other related tasks such as finalisation activities, National Sample Survey Data (NSO), etc. assigned.
