Job summary

Altis Industries Pvt. Ltd. in India seeks a seasoned finance professional to oversee the monthly and annual closing, ensure accuracy of books, and manage GST, TDS and TCS compliances.

The role involves audit coordination, ROC/ESIC/compliance activities, and robust internal controls across manufacturing operations. You will coordinate with auditors, manage banking relationships, prepare MIS reports, and drive SOPs to improve efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for monthly and annual closing and finalization of books of accounts
• scrutiny of ledgers, GRPO and delivery challan clearing, and MSME creditors working
• Manage GST, TDS and TCS compliances
• including RCM, ITC eligibility, GSTR-2B reconciliation, debit/credit notes, amendments, e-way bills, and annual GST returns (GSTR-9 & GSTR-9C)
• Ensure timely completion of tax, statutory, internal and inventory audits
• including preparation of audit workings and coordination with auditors
• Handle ROC, PF, ESIC and Cost Audit related statutory compliances and ensure timely submissions
• Manage finance and banking activities
• including project reports, Bank Guarantees (BG), Letters of Credit (LC), DP workings, and coordination with banks
• Oversee routine accounting activities such as payment processing, expense verification, capitalization, prepaid expenses and outstanding expenses
• Handle GST and Income Tax assessments
• including preparation of workings, documentation and coordination with consultants/authorities
• Manage accounting and compliance related to job work, works contracts and contractors
• Develop and implement SOPs and internal control systems to improve financial processes and operational efficiency
• Prepare MIS reports and manufacturing accounting entries, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely financial reporting

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
