• Conceptualising and implementing accounting policies and internal controls.
• Administering accounting operations and preparing financial statements.
• Finalization of Annual Financial Statements and liaising for statutory audits.
• Reviewing and completing month-end books closure and monthly MIS.
• Managing tax compliance including GST and Income Tax.
• Supervising outsourced teams for compliance without compromising quality.
• Overseeing regulatory compliance and financial regulations.
• Staying informed about regulatory changes and implementing adjustments.
• Contributing to the development of controlling processes and systems.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Conceptualising and implementing the accounting policies as well as devising suitable internal controls in the system
• Administering accounting operations right up to the financial statements as per the mandatory accounting standards
• Finalization of Annual Financial Statements including Consolidated Financial Statements and liaison for statutory audit thereof.
• Review and ensuring timely completion of various activities for month end books closure, monthly MIS and completion of Audit.
• Managing all tax compliances in Direct and Indirect Tax, Implementation and compliance under GST,Income Tax, TDS, Service Tax, STPI, SEZ, Customs, Excise and Transfer Pricing.
• Managing the outsourced teams to ensure proper compliance without missing quality and time.
• Supervising compliance-related activities involving the review of annual tax filing and projections, evaluating the tax effect and implications of business strategies and proposals.
• Oversee regulatory compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and standards.
• Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements and implement necessary adjustments.
• Contribute, establish and further develop guidelines, methods, processes and systems for controlling topics.
