Job summary

Mahansaria Tyres Private Limited in Mumbai is seeking a procurement specialist to manage end-to-end procurement for MRO (Spares, AMC & Services), Capex and Steel Structurals. You will implement strategies to secure supply and achieve value for money.

The role requires market analysis, vendor negotiations, contract and PO preparation, and monthly MIS reporting. You will collaborate with Engineering, Stores, Accounts, Commercial and Quality to drive growth.

Purpose of the Role

• Manage procurement activities for MRO (Spares, AMC & Services), Capex and Steel Structurals.
• Implement procurement strategies to ensure security of supply and optimum value for money.
• Analyze market trends, pricing and delivery trends and modify category procurement strategies accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with procurement processes, policies and guidelines to deliver a commercial and cost-effective procurement process.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and value addition to drive procurement performance and business results.
• Manage end-to-end procurement and contracting activities including vendor pre-qualification, negotiations, CS preparation, PO preparation and delivery follow-up.
• Prepare and maintain monthly MIS and procurement reports.
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across functions.
• Support business continuity and vendor plant audits, wherever applicable, to support plant and business growth.
