Job summary

Trent Hypermarket Pvt Ltd invites applications for a field-based Procurement Lead role based in rural parts of Uttar Pradesh. You will build and expand a supplier base, onboard new vendors, and scout markets to ensure continuous product flow. Travel to supplier locations will be frequent.

You will ensure 100% fill rates, maintain quality standards, engage with farmers, and manage payments and documentation, blending procurement, vendor management, and community engagement.

• Build and expand a supplier base across your assigned geography, identifying and onboarding new vendors
• Scout emerging markets and production areas to maintain uninterrupted product flow
• Achieve and sustain 100% fill rates across all inventory requirements
• Ensure every shipment meets agreed quality standards before dispatch
• Procure stock directly at farm gate level, working closely with farming communities
• Coordinate and oversee third-party workforce engaged in logistics and supply operations
• Meet all agreed timelines and processes for stock sourcing and movement
• Handle vendor payments promptly and maintain positive supplier relationships
• Complete all required documentation in line with organizational procedures
