The role involves ensuring optimal machine performance, minimizing downtime, and supporting production efficiency through timely maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspection, maintenance, and repairs of manufacturing machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, or minor instrumentation issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities as per the defined schedule to ensure machine reliability.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts usage.
• Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and guidelines during maintenance work.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance (or equivalent technical field).
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in the maintenance of manufacturing or industrial machinery, preferably in a plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret machine manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
