Job summary

White Peak Refrigeration Pvt Ltd in Uttar Pradesh seeks a seasoned Maintenance Head to plan, schedule, and oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of production lines, utilities, and facility infrastructure. You will lead a team of mechanical and electrical technicians to minimise downtime and ensure safety.

The role requires deep knowledge of mechanical systems, PLCs, hydraulics and refrigeration, plus TPM, Lean Maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or equivalent.
• 15+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with 5+ years in management.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical panels, PLCs, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Familiar with TPM, Lean Maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of production lines, utilities, and facility infrastructure.
• Manage a team of mechanical and electrical technicians to ensure timely repairs and minimal downtime.
• Maintain and troubleshoot key production equipment such as CNC press machines, extrusion machines, conveyors, welding stations, refrigeration test rigs, and painting lines.
• Manage plant utilities including compressed air, electrical distribution, water systems, HVAC, and effluent treatment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, energy usage, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to minimize equipment-related quality or downtime issues.
• Define and optimise the critical spare parts list, plan maintenance budgets, spare parts procurement, and service contracts.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for critical equipment failures and implement long-term solutions.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and plant upgrades.
• Train and develop maintenance team on technical skills, safety, and equipment-specific procedures.
• Develop KPIs and regularly report on maintenance performance; conduct safety inspections and close observations.
• Manage shift coverage, standby rosters, and overtime for 24/7 maintenance support.

Plan and manage annual maintenance budgets, spare parts procurement, and service contracts.

Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for critical equipment failures and implement long-term solutions.

Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and plant upgrades.

Train and develop maintenance team on technical skills, safety, and equipment-specific procedures.

Develop KPIs and regularly report on maintenance performance

Conduct regular equipment safety inspections and ensure timely closure of all safety-related maintenance observations

Manage shift coverage, standby rosters, and overtime to ensure 24/7 maintenance support for production.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical panels, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and refrigeration systems.
• Familiarity with TPM, Lean Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
