Job summary

Golcha Associated Group is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance professional to manage plant maintenance operations and lead engineering and capital projects. You will ensure high equipment uptime, improve reliability, minimize downtime and deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include planning and executing preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, driving TPM, leading root-cause analyses and coordinating with vendors for seamless project delivery.

Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of experience in plant maintenance and project execution in manufacturing or mining industries.
  • Hands-on experience with compressors, pumps, pipelines, grinding equipment and plant utilities.
  • Strong understanding of TPM, preventive maintenance, equipment reliability and CAPEX execution.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and coordinate with vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute and monitor preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance to maximize uptime.
  • Drive equipment reliability via TPM and continuous improvement.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis to reduce recurring faults and improve efficiency.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, and resources to optimize costs.
  • Execute mechanical and electrical CAPEX projects from planning to handover.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, contractors and vendors for project execution.
  • Review drawings, BOQs, specs and schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, ISO systems and company policies.
  • Develop maintenance SOPs and equipment history records.
  • Lead and mentor maintenance teams with a focus on safety and quality.

Role Purpose

We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance professional who can effectively manage plant maintenance operations while leading engineering and capital projects. The role is responsible for ensuring high equipment availability, improving plant reliability, minimizing downtime, and delivering maintenance and expansion projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Role & responsibilities
  • Plan, execute and monitor preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery, equipment and utilities to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
  • Drive equipment reliability through TPM, preventive maintenance practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis to minimize recurring equipment failures and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory and resource utilization to optimize maintenance costs.
  • Execute mechanical and electrical CAPEX projects from planning and engineering to installation, commissioning and handover.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, contractors and vendors for seamless project execution.
  • Review technical drawings, BOQs, equipment specifications and project schedules to ensure timely project completion.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, ISO systems and company policies.
  • Develop maintenance SOPs, documentation and equipment history records.
  • Lead and mentor maintenance teams, ensuring adherence to safety, quality and operational excellence.
Preferred candidate profile
  • Strong experience in both plant maintenance and project execution within manufacturing or process industries.
  • Hands-on exposure to compressors, pumps, pipelines, grinding equipment and plant utilities.
  • Good understanding of TPM, preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, CAPEX execution and maintenance planning.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, coordinate with vendors and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning and cross-functional coordination skills.
Qualification
  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
Experience
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in plant maintenance and project execution within manufacturing or mining industries.
