Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical required.
• 12–20 years of experience, preferably in food processing, FMCG, beverage or process industry.
• Strong experience in plant maintenance, utilities, reliability, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete Maintenance & Engineering team.
• Plan and implement preventive, predictive, breakdown and corrective maintenance.
• Ensure reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and automation systems.
• Manage maintenance of all plant utilities including boiler, steam, refrigeration, compressors, DG, water and related systems.
• Monitor equipment availability, breakdowns, MTBF, MTTR and maintenance performance.
• Conduct RCA for major and repetitive breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and execute annual maintenance plans and plant shutdowns.
• Develop maintenance team capability through training, performance management and multi-skilling.

Job description

The Maintenance Manager will lead the complete Engineering & Maintenance function of the plant, ensuring high equipment reliability, maximum plant availability, minimum breakdowns, safe operations and optimum maintenance cost.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete Maintenance & Engineering team.
• Plan and implement preventive, predictive, breakdown and corrective maintenance.
• Ensure reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and automation systems.
• Manage maintenance of all plant utilities including boiler, steam, refrigeration, compressors, DG, water and related systems.
• Monitor equipment availability, breakdowns, MTBF, MTTR and maintenance performance.
• Conduct RCA for major and repetitive breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and execute annual maintenance plans and plant shutdowns.
• Managecri tical spare parts, maintenance inventory, vendors, OEMs and AMC contracts.
• Prepare and control the maintenance budget and drive maintenance cost optimization.
• Support plant modification, engineering projects, equipment installation and commissioning.
• Drive energy-efficiency and utility-cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, food safety and statutory requirements.
• Maintain appropriate maintenance records, SOPs, equipment history and CMMS/ERP data.
• Develop maintenance team capability through training, performance management and multi-skilling.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, EHS, Stores, Purchase and other departments for smooth plant operation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering.
• Experience: 12 to 20 years, preferably in food processing, FMCG, beverage or process industry.
• Strong experience in plant maintenance, utilities, reliability, and team leadership.
