Job summary

Parksons Packaging Ltd. is seeking a proactive Maintenance Lead to manage shift resource planning, train and evaluate staff, and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all machines and plant utilities.

The role also covers safety compliance, budget oversight, and timely reporting of maintenance activities and costs. The candidate will oversee critical breakdown responses, manage spare parts inventory, and coordinate with external service providers to ensure production

Responsibilities

• Team Management: Shift resource planning aligning availability with the facility's operational needs to ensure maximum coverage.
• Training, performance evaluations, setting priorities.
• Planned Preventive Maintenance: Design, implement a PPM program for all machines and utilities.
• Ensure full execution of the maintenance plan.
• Rapid Breakdown Response: Act as the primary technical lead for major failures.
• Prioritize repairs to protect production deadlines and oversee outsourced maintenance services when required.
• Inventory & Spare Parts Management: Monitor and maintain an optimal stock of spare parts.
• Raise purchase indents to maintain minimum stock levels.
• Utility & Facility Management: Oversee the plant’s infrastructure, including DG sets, air compressors, chillers, and UPS systems.
• Safety & Compliance (SHE): Enforce strict adherence to Safety, Health, and Environment norms.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure that all equipment and tools are operating safely and efficiently.
• Financial Oversight: Manage the annual maintenance budget and drive in-house repair initiatives to reduce costs.
• Validate all bills for procured spares and services.
• Reporting: Document activities, maintain logs, and report on maintenance status, costs.
