Gesco Healthcare Pvt. Ltd in Chennai is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for CNC, VMC and related manufacturing equipment.

The role focuses on ensuring machine availability, reliability, and safe operation across production lines. You will lead maintenance staff, coordinate with production and quality teams, maintain records, monitor spare parts, and drive cost-control measures while adhering to safety and quality standards in

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Ensure smooth functioning of CNC, VMC, and other manufacturing machines.
• Minimize machine breakdowns and reduce production downtime.
• Monitor machine performance and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all machines and equipment.
• Supervise and guide maintenance engineers, technicians, and supporting staff.
• Ensure proper maintenance of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality departments to resolve machine-related issues.
• Maintain machine maintenance records, breakdown reports, and service history.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and ensure the availability of critical maintenance materials.
• Coordinate with machine suppliers and external service providers for repairs and servicing.
• Ensure machine accuracy, alignment, and operational reliability.
• Monitor maintenance costs and implement cost-reduction measures.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and statutory requirements related to maintenance activities.
• Conduct regular factory rounds to identify equipment issues and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and implementation of 5S in the maintenance department.
• Investigate recurring breakdowns and implement root cause corrective actions.
• Support new machine installation, commissioning, and equipment improvement activities.
• Prepare and present maintenance KPIs, machine downtime reports, and preventive maintenance compliance reports.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable quality standards and company procedures in medical equipment manufacturing.
