Job summary

BRFM India is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to own electrical, automation and mechanical maintenance at our new automated flour mill in Bengaluru. You will work closely with a team of electricians and fitters to ensure high uptime of power systems, drives, and PLC/SCADA control.

You will lead preventive maintenance, drive energy efficiency and power factor improvements, and coordinate with OEM service vendors to keep critical equipment in optimal condition.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in electrical, automation and mechanical systems.
• Experience leading a maintenance team and coordinating with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HT/LT substation, transformer, DG, MCCs, drives and PLC / SCADA.
• Plan and deliver preventive maintenance for all plant equipment.
• Lead breakdown response and root-cause analysis to minimise downtime.
• Manage spares, OEM service contracts and maintenance vendors.
• Drive energy efficiency and power factor.
• Lead and develop shift electricians and mechanical fitters; enforce safe working practices.

Role:

Own all maintenance electrical, automation and mechanical — at our new automated flour mill. Electrical and automation is the core of this role: you will be personally hands-on with power systems, drives and the PLC / SCADA system, and lead a team of electricians and fitters.
