As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer , you will be reporting to Plant Head and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems, machinery ,equipment, and Utilities.Your responsibilities will encompass Breakdown , preventive / Proactive /Predicative maintenance, to enhance Optimal and Effective Use of Electricity/ Energy / Electrical systems for minimizing downtime and Reduce Cost.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electrical machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, such as equipment malfunctions, power failures, and wiring problems, in a timely manner to minimize production interruptions.
Calibration and Testing: Conduct regular calibration and testing of electrical systems and components to maintain accuracy, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as equipment breakdowns or power outages, to minimize downtime and mitigate potential hazards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections, to track equipment performance and compliance with maintenance schedules.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in electrical systems and recommend enhancements or upgrades to optimize performance and reduce costs.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance activities, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage the maintenance department budget, tracking expenses, analyzing costs, and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production etc. to coordinate maintenance activities and support overall operational goals.
