Job summary

Royal Chains in Navi Mumbai seeks a highly experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead preventive and predictive maintenance of jewellery production equipment, including casting, rolling, laser, and plating units. The role emphasizes proactive fault diagnosis and safety.

You will oversee installation, commissioning, calibration of new machines, coordinate with suppliers, and maintain spares. Strong knowledge of PPMS and calibration processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical with PWD certification.
• 35 years of maintenance experience in jewellery manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of PPMS, installation, calibration and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance of jewellery production machines.
• Support installation, testing and calibration of new production lines.
• Attend to machine breakdowns to minimize downtime and coordinate with service engineers.
• Maintain inventory and procurement of spare parts and consumables.
• Ensure safety standards and ISO/compliance documentation.
• Supervise dust collection schedule and housekeeping workflows.

Job description

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

- Plan and execute regular preventive maintenance of jewellery production machines such as casting machines, rhodium plants, rolling mills, laser machines, chain machines, plating units, polishing machines, etc. Identify early signs of wear, malfunction, or breakdowns and take corrective actions.

Production Support

- Support installation, testing, and calibration of new production machines, in coordination with Suppliers / vendors. Assist in setting up and maintaining CNC / laser / chain / press machines as per production requirements. Facilitate department shifting and setting up of new production lines / department with required machine installation.

Breakdown & Corrective Maintenance

- Attend to machine breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime. Coordinate with external service engineers or vendors for specialized repairs. Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs in the maintenance register

Inventory & Spare Parts Management

- Maintain inventory of critical spare parts, tools, and consumables. Prepare material requisitions for spare parts and coordinate with purchase or store departments.

Compliance & Safety

- Ensure all machinery and electrical systems adhere to safety standards. Conduct regular safety checks and train operators on equipment handling. Maintain proper documentation of equipment history and calibration. Comply with ISO / factory audit Production maintenance and calibration documentation

Other Activities

- Refinery Supervise to Dust Collection schedule from all Department and also collecting from common area by housekeeping people.
