JSW MG Motor India Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled GA Maintenance technician to ensure reliable operation of GA shop equipment, including conveyors, EMS systems, friction drive and tester lines. The role emphasizes preventive and predictive maintenance and Kaizen-driven improvements.

You will develop inspection procedures, maintain spare parts matrices, and guide maintenance manpower in monitoring activities. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot independently, work with teams, and uphold safety

Role & responsibilities

• Should follow and Implement best Industrial safety processes.
• Should be well acquainted with GA shop process equipment consisting of Conveyors, EMS system, Friction Drive, Tester line etc.
• Develop the Preventive & Predictive Maintenance technique for ensuring the reliability GA shop equipment. Identification & ordering of the GA shop spares.
• Identify the GA shop equipment inspection & repair procedures & Develop the Task instruction sheets for the same.
• Develop the skill of GA Maintenance manpower in monitoring, Preventive & Predictive maintenance techniques, Repair activities & enhance them in structured manner.
• Identify the improvement opportunities in improving the Equipment uptime, Cost & Quality & drive the Kaizen culture in GA maintenance.
• Critical thinking with exceptional Problem-Solving skills, able to work independently and in team environments.
• Identify, Manage and Maintain Equipment spare parts matrix.

Responsibility

• Readiness of the GA Maintenance function on the 4M (Man, Machine, Material & Method) aspect.
• Responsible for handling shift independently of GA shop and trouble-shooting the equipment.
• Responsible to achieve departmental KPIs.

Authority

• Issuance of Spare part of any value from store.
• Spare Ordering confirmation for any value against approved SA.
• Verification & Clearance of commercial bills of respective area.
• Leave Approval of JE & Associates of respective area.

Preferred candidate profile

• Should be well aware with the Functioning & maintenance of the GA shop Process & Tester Line Equipment including floor & overhead Conveyors.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial design.
• Debugging on the controls & electrical circuit with no additional support, Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere

• Candidate should have experience of working in the Controls of various platforms RS Logix 5, 5000, RSNetworx for Device Net, ControlNet, Ether Net IP, RS View Studio & Drives/VFDs.
• Modifies the PLC Ladders, Drive Parameters during Debugging & improve the Process timings of Die Change, Robotic Part Transfer from Press to press etc.
• Assist the user in improving the Production output by improving the controls ladder & modifying the conditions of false alarms.
• Should be a good communicator with good interpersonal skills.
