Greythr is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of industrial machinery and utility equipment. You will monitor equipment conditions, coordinate repairs, and maintain maintenance records to ensure high availability and safety in production facilities.

The role requires hands-on experience with conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems; reading mechanical drawings; and strong Excel-based reporting.

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Maintain equipment such as conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, motors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and production machinery.
• Monitor equipment condition for abnormal vibration, noise, heating, leakage, lubrication issues, and wear.
• Coordinate equipment repair, replacement, alignment, lubrication, and overhauling activities.
• Ensure minimum machine downtime and maximum equipment availability
• Ensure timely completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance activities.

• Monitor compressors, pumps, water systems, ventilation systems, and other utility equipment as applicable.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with external agencies and contractors for facility-related jobs
• Attend machine breakdowns promptly and coordinate troubleshooting with the team
• Analyze breakdown causes and prepare breakdown reports.
• Track machine downtime and recurring breakdowns.
• Implement corrective actions to prevent repeated failures.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to restore equipment operation safely and quickly.
• Execute maintenance activities with contractors and external service agencies.
• Monitor contractor work quality, safety, and completion timelines.
• Allocate maintenance jobs to technicians based on priority and skill requirements.
• Supervise maintenance manpower during planned and breakdown activities.
• Maintain equipment history, preventive maintenance, breakdown, and repair records.
• Prepare daily/monthly maintenance reports.
• Track pending maintenance jobs and ensure timely closure.
• Support the preparation of maintenance KPIs such as breakdown frequency, downtime, MTBF, MTTR, OEE etc
• Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical maintenance.
• Good understanding of mechanical equipment, machines, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, couplings, lubrication systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns independently.
• Good knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance planning and spare-parts management.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during machine breakdowns.
