Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 24 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/plant maintenance.
• Experience with preventive maintenance planning.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices.
• Ability to coordinate with production and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance of MCC panels, motors, PLC systems, sensors, and control panels.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of plant machinery, electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and utilities. The candidate will handle preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, minimize machine downtime, and maintain safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Maintenance

• Maintain MCC panels, motors, PLC systems, sensors, and control panels.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely resolution.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedule.
• Inspect electrical wiring, circuits, and components.
• Maintain breakdown reports and records of spare parts usage.

2. Mechanical Maintenance

• Maintain machines, conveyors, compressors, pumps, and other mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
• Support machine installation and commissioning activities.
• Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, and machine health monitoring.
• Reduce machine downtime and improve equipment efficiency.

3. Plant and Utility Maintenance

• Maintain plant utilities, including compressed air and water systems, HVAC, and boilers, where applicable.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety practices, including LOTO and PPE.
• Support plant shutdowns and equipment overhaul activities.

4. Documentation and Coordination

• Maintain daily maintenance logs and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth plant operations.
