Job description

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in industrial environments. The role involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems to ensure uninterrupted operations, safety compliance, and energy efficiency.

Operations & Maintenance

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems including motors, transformers, switchgear, PLCs, and drives.
• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply and optimize energy efficiency across the facility.
• Supervise installation of new electrical equipment and systems.
• Test and commission equipment as per technical specifications and standards.
• Review and validate electrical drawings, single‑line diagrams, and as‑built documents.

Safety & Compliance

• Implement and strictly adhere to electrical safety protocols and statutory regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with IEC / IS standards.
• Support safety initiatives including risk assessments, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and hazard mitigation.
• Diagnose electrical faults and breakdowns in industrial machinery and utilities.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Support capital and expansion projects from an electrical engineering perspective.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and OEMs for maintenance, repairs, and procurement.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of maintenance schedules, breakdowns, and energy consumption.
• Prepare technical reports and recommend cost‑saving and efficiency improvement initiatives.
• Manage and maintain electrical inventory and spare parts.
