Job summary

Keshav Metals Pvt Ltd in Maharashtra, India is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical panels, motors, and PLC-based systems.

The ideal candidate has ITI Electrician or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 2–5 years industrial experience, strong knowledge of single and three‑phase systems, VFDs and motor control circuits, the ability to read diagrams, and a safety‑conscious, team‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• ITI (Electrician) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance (steel/manufacturing preferred).
• Strong knowledge of single-phase and three-phase systems.
• Familiar with VFDs, PLC panels, and motor control circuits.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot circuits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, panels, and machines.
• Repair and maintain motors, control panels, circuit breakers, wiring, sensors, limit switches, and PLC-based systems.
• Ensure timely resolution of breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Monitor load distribution, energy consumption, and power factor.
• Maintain and update logbooks for electrical equipment and maintenance activities.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery and upgrades.
• Perform safety checks and follow electrical safety standards (PPE, lockout/tagout).
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for electrical requirements.
• Maintain inventory of electrical spares and raise material requisitions.
• Support maintenance of DG sets, transformers, HT panels, and lighting.

Reporting To: Maintenance Supervisor / Maintenance Head

Conduct routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems, panels, and machines.

Repair and maintain motors, control panels, circuit breakers, wiring, sensors, limit switches, and PLC-based systems.

Ensure timely resolution of breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

ITI (Electrician) / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance (preferably steel or manufacturing industry)

Strong knowledge of single-phase and three-phase systems

Familiar with VFDs, PLC panels, and motor control circuits

Ability to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot circuits
