Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to processes and maintenance procedures to meet performance standards.

• Maintain semi-plant equipment and lead team in maintenance activities.
• Dismantle/repair/assemble/install equipment as needed on site.
• Analyze machine functionality and recommend parts for rebuild or replacement.

Functional Area: Manufacturing.

What are my responsibilities?

• Ensures adherence to agreed processes and procedures in maintenance and ensures achievement of agreed performance standards.
• Coordinates and monitors maintenance procedures.
• Plans resources and executes routine maintenance projects.
• Responsible for maintenance of semi-plant equipment.
• Coordinates operational processes and leads employees in the team assigned.
• If required dismantles, repairs, assembles, installs, and sets up technical equipment and machines used in a production site.

• Analyze basic functionality of machines and recommend rebuild/replacement parts to return to good performance.
• Supplies to installation projects on site and support accountable Industrial Engineers.
• Supports maintenance of technical documentations of processes and equipment.
• May advise junior staff technically.
• May maintain various types of equipment.
• Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance or Reliability Centered Maintenance concepts.
• Utilization of CMMS to review and analyze maintenance data.
• Utilization of problem-solving tools and troubleshooting skills to identify root cause of machine issues.
• Develop appropriate preventive and/or predictive maintenance plans to reduce emergency maintenance and extend overall life of machines.
• Communicate and coordinate activities within maintenance and cross-functional teams when necessary.
• Physical presence in the workplace is a crucial function.
• Implement and actively support the plant and corporate safety policies and initiatives.
• This role will be cross-trained and supplement Maintenance Supervision in different areas at times.
• Analyzes technical problems on site and completes mechanical and/or electrical repairs and work orders.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• ITI Electrical/ Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical engineering with min 8-10 years of experience.
• Experience of working in Low Voltage Products manufacturing.
• Maintenance of automation setup

Skills

Hands-on experience of maintenance of Special purpose machine.

Working knowledge on lean production system, maintenance engineer or controls engineer

Knowledge of laser marking machines, optical vision inspection, welding machines, thermal testing, magnetic testing, and injection molding machines

Familiarity with CMMS software and other computer software as it pertains to engineering.

Familiarity with problem solving and reliability tools such as DMAIC, PFMEA, A3, 8D Corrective Action Plans, 5 Why, Fishbone and other 6 Sigma tools.

Continuous improvement project experience.
