Job summary

Dinex Emission Solutions India is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure plant machinery uptime and optimize production performance. The role involves planning predictive and preventive maintenance, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and driving continuous improvement to reduce downtime and scrap.

You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery KPIs, while developing engineers and enhancing overall equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant maintenance and reliability improvements.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Experience with preventive maintenance planning and spare parts management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plant machinery uptime across shifts.
• Support production to meet design targets and optimized output.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using project management approaches.
• Develop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to resolve uptime issues and reduce downtime.
• Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and data recording for downtime tracking.
• Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to meet KPIs for safety, quality, cost and delivery.

Job description

• Functional responsibility to ensure Plant Machinery uptime for managing shift operation.
• Support Manufacturing to achieve Optimized output as per the design characteristics of the plant.
• To develop and implement process improvement projects using a Project management approach with the objective to improve production attainment, production efficiencies, product Quality, reduction of plant downtime, reduction in Scrap rate, p.m. and expensive raw materials gains and losses. This will also involve the coordination of multi-disciplinary teams.
• To increase the level of professionalism within engineering areas via people development.
• Achieve Optimized equipment performance within agreed annual objectives and Key Performance Indicators.
• Planning and effectuating predictive &preventive maintenance schedules for various equipment to increase machine uptime and reliability.
• Identifying areas of bottlenecks/ breakdown and taking steps to rectify the same through troubleshooting tools like Root Cause Analysis
• Ensuring no down time by maintaining appropriate inventory of spare parts resources.
• Implementing Daily maintenance system and data recording to track down time and resolve problems.
• Conceptualizing and execute various operations pertaining to maintenance, modification, and up-keeping of various utilities like Compressors, heaters, chillers, Gas scrubber, Natural Gas system.
• Focus on Kaizens and continuous improvement to reduce process time, process cost and lead time.
• Shift support to improve machine up time.
• Working closely with suppliers and stakeholder to ensure project meets KPIs of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Moral.
• Design and develop processes which meet IATF and IMS requirements.
