Job summary

Kinetic Engineering is seeking a skilled maintenance engineer to perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of machine shop equipment. The role involves maintaining gear hobbling, shaving, shaping, and broaching machines, troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and ensuring high machine availability.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering with 2–7 years of experience in machine maintenance, preferably in gear or gearbox manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of machine shop equipment.
• Maintain gear hobbing, shaving, shaping, and broaching machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ensure minimum machine downtime and maximum machine availability.
• Perform routine inspection, lubrication, alignment, and replacement of machine parts.
• Maintain maintenance records and breakdown reports.
• Coordinate with production to ensure smooth machine operation.
• Follow safety procedures and support 5S activities.
