Job summary

Shavish Group is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for our production equipment. The role requires hands-on expertise in mechanical systems, fault diagnosis, and documentation to ensure smooth operations.

You will coordinate with Production and other departments, implement improvements, and support installation and modification of machinery, while maintaining safety and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or industrial engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
• Experience with preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read drawings and manuals.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and minimize machine downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure smooth production operations.
• Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and equipment history.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments to resolve equipment-related issues.
• Identify recurring mechanical problems and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper maintenance of motors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, and other mechanical components, as applicable.
• Support installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and maintenance standards.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for maintenance requirements.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and productivity.
• Ensure proper execution of maintenance schedules and timely closure of maintenance activities.
