Acim Global Appliance is seeking a Maintenance Electronics Technician to perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of complex PLC systems across factory sectors. You will work on the production floor and in the Repair Shop, diagnosing PLC logic, industrial networks, and robot cells while maintaining shop infrastructure.
Responsibilities include bench repair of PCBs, calibration of test rigs, wiring/interface work, and ensuring safety and ISO standards.
The Maintenance Electronics Technician is responsible for executing advanced predictive, preventive, and corrective electronic maintenance, automation troubleshooting, and high-value asset calibration across all factory sectors. Operating both on the production floor and within the internal specialized Repair Shop, the technician's core focus is diagnosing complex PLC logic architectures, industrial communication networks, and robotic cells, as well as executing board-level component repairs, constructing specialized test rigs, and managing the electronics workshop infrastructure to maximize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), minimize MTTR, and reduce plant Capex.
Education: Completed Technical Course or Diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or related technical fields.
Technical Knowledge: Mastery in reading complex electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and functional automation charts. Proficient with advanced industrial IT tools (firmware updates, communication drivers, hardware imaging, and network analyzers). Thorough knowledge of electrical, electronic, and control components relevant to the plant area.
Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical vision for data-driven troubleshooting, immediate response agility under manufacturing pressure, and strong meticulous attention to component safety limits.
Languages: Intermediate to Advanced English (essential for software parameterization, automation manual reading, and technical supplier interfacing).
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years in high-tech industrial automation, electronic hardware maintenance, or specialized electronic workshop operations, with grading correlated to competence matrix maturity levels.
Industrial areas/sector: Industrial Control and Automation preferred, High-Precision Machinery Manufacturing, Compressors / HVAC, Automotive Powertrain, or Semiconductor/Consumer Electronics.
