Job summary

Infosys is seeking a skilled Mainframe MQ Administrator in Pune to manage MQ queues, configure, install and upgrade MQ, troubleshoot issues, and maintain reliable messaging on IBM mainframes. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, perform mainframe DB administration with tools like ISPF Editor and SDSF, and ensure robust performance on OS/390 and z/OS environments.

Experience of 5–9 years and a B.Tech/B.E./BCA degree are expected.

Qualifications

• 5-9 years of experience in Mainframe MQ Admin role with MQ configuration, installation, upgrading, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Bachelor's degree in B.Tech / B.E. / BCA or related field.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-9 years of experience in Mainframe MQ Admin role with expertise in configuring, installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and maintaining Message Queue (MQ) on IBM Mainframes.
  


• Bachelor's degree in Any Specialization (B.Tech / B.E., B.C.A.).
  


• Strong understanding of mainframe db administration concepts and ability to work with various mainframe operating systems like OS/390 & z/OS.
