We are looking for experienced Mainframe professionals with 4 to 20 years of experience in Mainframe application development, enhancement, maintenance, modernization, migration, and production support.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with enterprise Mainframe technologies and should be capable of working across the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, production support, modernization, and migration initiatives.

Candidates with experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, IMS, IBM z/OS, MQ, scheduling tools, and Mainframe development/support environments are preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise Mainframe applications.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and related technologies.
• Perform application enhancements, maintenance, debugging, and production support.
• Participate in Mainframe modernization and migration projects.
• Support migration of legacy Mainframe applications to modern/open platforms where applicable.
• Perform impact analysis, technical design, coding, testing, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Work with cross-functional teams, business teams, architects, and technical leads.
• Ensure application quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Support release management and batch scheduling activities.
• For senior-level roles, provide technical leadership, solution design, architecture, and mentoring.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 4 to 20 years of experience in Mainframe development, technical leadership, solution design, architecture, modernization, migration, or production support.
• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and IBM z/OS.
• Experience in Mainframe application development, enhancement, maintenance, debugging, and production support.
• Strong understanding of technical design, code review, application architecture, and SDLC processes.
• Experience in Mainframe modernization and migration to open/modern platforms is preferred.
• Candidates with experience in technical leadership, solution architecture, stakeholder management, and team mentoring are preferred for senior-level positions.
• Experience with IMS, IBM MQ, Control-M/CA-7, Endevor/Changeman, File-Aid, and Abend-AID will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
