Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is hiring for a Mainframe Batch Scheduling Admin in Hyderabad/Chennai. You will monitor and manage batch job execution in production environments, troubleshoot failures, and perform reruns and recoveries per SOPs.

You will support scheduling tools such as Control-M or IBM Workload Scheduler, coordinate with application and infra teams, and ensure SLAs are met through proactive health checks.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in mainframe batch scheduling.
• Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M or IBM Workload Scheduler.
• Strong problem-solving and incident management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage batch job execution in production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve batch job failures and dependency issues.
• Perform reruns, restarts, and recovery activities as per procedures.
• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution.
• Ensure batch processing activities meet defined SLA timelines.
• Conduct health checks and batch monitoring activities.
