Talenttap Management Consultants is seeking an experienced machinist in Tamil Nadu for heavy component machining. You will operate stub boring machines and portable drilling equipment, and prepare/edit 2D CNC programs to keep production flowing smoothly and safely.

Proficiency with FANUC or Siemens controls, tool knowledge, GD&T interpretation, and 5S shop-floor discipline is essential. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities drive continual improvement.

Competenze

• Experience in setting up and machining heavy components.
• Familiar with 3m+ table length and 5 ton weight handling preferred.
• Understanding of GD&T and reading drawings.

Job Description

Operating of Stub boring Machine to perform machining operations & ensuring the machine runs smoothly and efficiently.

Operating of portable manual drilling machine.

Preparation and editing of 2D CNC programs

Problem analyzing and resolving ability in the machining process.

Tool presetting in the Zoller pre setter.

Handling and Measuring Instruments like Micrometer, Vernier caliper and Profile Gauges etc.

Maintaining 5s in shop floor.

Involving in Kaizen activity (Continual Improvement).

Drawing Reading skills (GD & T Knowledge).

Desired Profile

Experience in Job setup and Machining of Heavy components (Prefered work table size minimum 3meter & Component weight minimum 5ton)

Work experience Preferably FANUC and SIEMENS Control

Good Knowledge about cutting tools

Good Communication skills and self-discipline.

Awareness of basic industrial safety.
