Job summary

Titan Engineering and Automation (TEAL) is seeking skilled machinists to operate CNC Turning, CNC Milling, VMC, and HMC machines on the shop floor in Tamil Nadu, India. The role requires setting machines, tool setting, offset corrections, and first-piece approval to ensure quality from the start of production.

You will read drawings, process sheets and work instructions, load/unload materials, track cycle times, and document production data while following 5S and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
• Perform tool changes and monitor tool life.
• Maintain production records and quality checks.

Job description

• Operate CNC Turning, CNC Milling, VMC (Vertical Machining Center), and HMC (Horizontal Machining Center) machines.
• Perform machine setting, tool setting, offset correction, and first-piece approval.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
• Monitor machining parameters, cycle time, and product quality.
• Perform tool change, tool life monitoring, and minor machine adjustments.
• Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments.
• Maintain production records and daily output reports.
• Follow 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and safety standards on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance teams for continuous production.
• Ensure quality requirements are met as per customer specifications.
