Job summary

Peltra Energy in Gurugram is seeking a hands-on mechanical engineer to ensure the alignment and installation of plant machinery for our biomass production line.

You will work hands-on across conveyors, hoppers, mixers, drum dryers and pelletizers, read mechanical drawings, and supervise on-site erection and commissioning while coordinating with fabricators and suppliers to keep the line running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing and aligning plant machinery on ground.
• Strong practical knowledge of conveyors, hoppers, mixers and material-handling equipment.
• Able to read mechanical and layout drawings and execute on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Check and ensure correct alignment, leveling and installation of all plant machinery
• Work hands-on across the full line - conveyor belts, hoppers, mixers, screw feeders, bucket elevators, hammer mills, pelletizers (ring/flat die), dryers and coolers
• Verify mechanical fitment, couplings, drives, bearings and shaft alignment
• Oversee erection and commissioning of equipment on site
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and keep the line running reliably
• Advise on layout, material flow and integration of supporting machinery
• Coordinate with fabricators and suppliers on installation, spares and maintenance

Peltra Energy is a growing sustainable biomass company (pellets, CBG, biochar) based in Gurugram. We're setting up pellet manufacturing and need a hands-on mechanical engineer who truly understands plant machinery - how each unit works, how it fits together, and how to get it installed and aligned right.

Immediate priority: checking and ensuring correct alignment and installation of plant machinery and the full conveying/handling line.

Responsibilities

• Check and ensure correct alignment, leveling and installation of all plant machinery
• Work hands-on across the full line - conveyor belts, hoppers, mixers, screw feeders, bucket elevators, hammer mills, pelletizers (ring/flat die), dryers and coolers
• Verify mechanical fitment, couplings, drives, bearings and shaft alignment
• Oversee erection and commissioning of equipment on site

Requirements

• Strong practical knowledge of conveyors, hoppers, mixers and material-handling equipment, plus drives, bearings and alignment
• Able to read mechanical/layout drawings and execute on the shop floor
• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical engineering
• Willing to be on-site in Gurugram and travel to plant locations
