Job summary

Arete 22 in Bengaluru seeks an experienced machinist to manage CNC, VMC and SPM operations. You will develop fixtures, optimize utilization and reduce cycle times.

You will monitor machine operations, troubleshoot defects, plan manpower, and ensure daily production and quality records are kept. Emphasis on 5S, RCA, Poka-Yoke and Kaizen to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC, VMC and SPM machining.
• Ability to develop fixtures and optimize production.
• Knowledge of 5S and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Develop fixtures and optimize machine utilization to reduce cycle time.
• Monitor and control machine operations for consistency and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot defects like runout and size variations in drills.
• Plan manpower based on the production plan.
• Update daily production, quality and check sheets as required.
• Implement 5S in the plant.
• Perform RCA and implement Poka-Yoke to prevent errors.
• Drive process improvements through Kaizen initiatives.

• Develop fixtures, optimize machines utilization and improve cycle time.
• Monitor and control machine operations to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot machining defects such as run out, dimensional issue, under size and over size drills.
• Plan the manpower based on production plan.
• Ensure the update of daily production, Quality and other check sheet as per requirement.
• Plant 5S
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement Poka-Yoke (error-proofing).
• Improving the process by developing Kaizen.
