Job summary

DP Chocolates in Sri City invites applications for a Machine Operator role in chocolate manufacturing. You will operate and monitor production and packing lines, start-up, shutdown, and changeovers, while ensuring safety and quality as per SOPs.

Freshers to 2 years' experience in FMCG or confectionery preferred. Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and ability to read SOPs is required. Rotational shifts and teamwork with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Warehouse are part of the job.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter or Electrical required.
• Freshers to 2 years experience in FMCG/confectionery preferred.
• Ability to read SOPs and follow GMP guidelines.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor chocolate production/packing machines as per SOP.
• Perform machine start-up, shutdown, changeover, and basic adjustments.
• Monitor machine parameters such as temperature, speed, pressure, and product weight.
• Check product quality and report abnormalities immediately.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate with the Maintenance team for breakdowns.
• Maintain production records, machine logbooks, and shift handover details.
• Carry out machine cleaning and ensure the work area is maintained properly.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, food safety, personal hygiene, and PPE requirements.
• Prevent product contamination and minimize production wastage.
• Follow all plant safety procedures while working with machinery.
• Support production targets and maintain smooth line operation.
• Work effectively with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams.
