Job summary

Gujarat Foodtech LLP in Goblej, Kheda, Gujarat is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to set up, maintain, and operate our automated packaging machinery for sauce and sachet filling lines.

You will ensure efficient production, minimize downtime, and uphold food safety and GMP standards. The role requires standing for long periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Machine Operator in food manufacturing, beverage, or FMCG.
• Hands-on experience operating automatic filling, sachet, or liquid packaging machinery.
• Strong understanding of basic mechanics and minor technical adjustments.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and GMP.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic reading skills to understand equipment manuals and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Safely operate and monitor automated production equipment, including sauce filling machines, sachet filling machines, and jar packaging lines.
• Setup & Calibration: Prepare machines for different product runs with accurate fill weights, proper sealing, and correct labeling alignments.
• Troubleshooting: Monitor the line to detect jams or faults and perform basic fixes to minimize downtime.
• Maintenance & Hygiene: Clean, sanitize, and perform basic preventive maintenance on filling machinery per food safety protocols.
• Record Keeping: Maintain daily logs of production output, machine performance, and maintenance issues.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to set up, maintain, and operate our automated packaging machinery. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of our sauce and sachet filling lines, minimizing downtime, and upholding our strict food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Safely operate and monitor automated production equipment, including automatic sauce filling machines, sachet filling machines, and jar packaging lines.
• Setup & Calibration: Prepare and configure machines for different product runs, ensuring accurate fill weights, proper sealing, and correct labeling alignments.
• Troubleshooting: Monitor the production line constantly to detect any jams, misalignments, or mechanical faults. Perform immediate basic troubleshooting to minimize production downtime.
• Maintenance & Hygiene: Perform routine cleaning, sanitization, and basic preventative maintenance on all filling machinery in compliance with food safety protocols.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate daily logs of production output, machine performance, and any maintenance issues.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Machine Operator, preferably in the food manufacturing, beverage, or FMCG industry.
• Hands-on experience operating automatic filling, sachet, or liquid packaging machinery.
• Strong understanding of basic mechanics and the ability to perform minor technical adjustments and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic technical reading skills to understand equipment manuals and safety guidelines.
