Job summary

Wave Mechanics is seeking a CNC technician with 2–4 years of experience and a strong Electrical & Electronics background. The role requires understanding CNC configurations, operating VMC/TC/HMC/SPM machines, and working with FANUC and Siemens controllers.

You will perform mechanical repairs, troubleshoot electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems, read wiring diagrams, and ensure safe, well-maintained equipment. Shift-based responsibilities apply with data updates in the system.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of CNC machine experience required.
• Background in Electrical & Electronics is very important.
• Basics about how CNC works and its configuration.
• Knowledge of VMC, TC, HMC and SPM, including conventional configuration.
• Familiarity with OEM controllers like FANUC and Siemens.
• Perform mechanical repair works on all machines.
• Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuits.
• Reading electrical wiring diagrams.
• Machine levelling and alignment.
• General facility maintenance.
• AC/DC power supplies and applications.
• Knowledge about special tools and their applications.
• Knowledge about machine history cards and BD Reports.
• Shift handling and data updating in systems.
• 5S and Kaizen improvements.
• Safety and PPE awareness.

Responsibilities

• Understand CNC operation and its configuration.
• Operate VMC/TC/HMC/SPM machines as required.
• Interact with FANUC and Siemens controllers.
• Perform mechanical repairs on machines as needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams.
• Ensure machine levelling and alignment checks.
• Maintain general facility upkeep and safety standards.
