Job summary

Macawber Beekay is seeking a hands-on CNC maintenance technician in Rajasthan to perform preventive and predictive maintenance on CNC machines, troubleshoot electrical/mechanical/control issues, and support installation and commissioning of new machines.

The role requires expertise with CNC controls, PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and strong problem-solving ability, ensuring high machine availability and safety compliance on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities for complex CNC equipment.
• Ability to coordinate with production teams for preventive maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with CNC machines and machine-shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines.
• Troubleshoot CNC machine electrical, mechanical and control-related problems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC, VMC, HMC and other machine tools.
• Handle servo motors, drives, VFDs, PLC, sensors, limit switches and control panels.
• Identify root causes of machine breakdowns and ensure timely rectification.
• Maintain machine availability and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with production teams for breakdown and maintenance activities.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown records and maintenance MIS.
• Support installation, commissioning and trial runs of new machines.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures during maintenance activities.

• Experience in manufacturing / heavy engineering / fabrication industry will be preferred.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
