Job summary

Role overview

The role is responsible for driving store performance while delivering a highly personalized luxury retail experience. The successful candidate will manage high-value client relationships, support day-to-day store operations, uphold couture presentation standards, and help deliver memorable in-store events in close coordination with the Store Manager and design team.

Key Responsibilitie s

• Drive monthly and seasonal sales targets for the store in partnership with the Store Manager, tracking performance across couture, bridal, menswear and accessories, as well as by stylist.
• Personally manage key and high-value clients, including bridal appointments, private viewings and trousseau orders, from initial consultation through final trials and delivery.
• Monitor conversion, average ticket size and repeat business; use performance insights to coach the team and identify where sales opportunities are being lost.

Client Experience and Clientele

• Ensure every client receives a personalized, unhurried experience aligned with the brands positioning, from first-time walk-ins to long-standing couture clients.
• Maintain an accurate client database (CRM), including preferences, measurements, occasions and purchase history; conduct regular outreach for new collections, trunk shows and events.
• Resolve escalations, alteration issues and delivery concerns calmly and promptly, keeping clients informed at every stage.
• Coordinate with the Noida atelier and design team on made-to-order and customized pieces to ensure timelines, fittings and client commitments are met.

Store Operations and Visual Merchandising

• Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash and card reconciliation, billing accuracy and daily sales reporting.
• Manage stock receiving, transfers, cycle counts and shrinkage control, ensuring couture garments are stored, handled and protected appropriately.
• Maintain visual merchandising and display standards in line with brand guidelines, keeping the heritage retail space and couture client area immaculate.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs and statutory requirements; coordinate with facilities, security and housekeeping vendors. Events and Brand Presence
• Support in-store events, trunk shows, collection launches, styling sessions, and celebrity or press appointments, including guest lists, logistics and on-the-day execution.
• Share market feedback with the Head of Retail and design team on Mumbai client preferences, product demand, sales trends and competitor activity.

Experience and Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience in luxury or premium fashion retail, such as designer labels, couture, bridal, fine jewellery or international luxury brands.
• At least 2 years of experience leading a retail team on the shop floor
