Job summary

Pujashree Product Global is seeking an experienced Logistics & Distribution leader to manage end-to-end logistics for FMCG/D2C channels. You will optimize transport, coordinate with warehouses, and drive cost-efficient distribution across multiple channels.

The role requires a Graduate degree with 8–12 years in Logistics/Distribution, and hands-on experience with Quick Commerce, Modern Trade, General Trade and D2C networks.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any relevant discipline; MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations will be an advantage.
• Experience of 8–12 years in Logistics, Distribution or Supply Chain.
• Strong experience in FMCG/D2C/Consumer Products with manufacturing, warehouses and distribution networks.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end logistics and distribution from manufacturing/warehouse to distributors, customers and retail/commerce channels.
• Plan dispatches based on demand, inventory, customer orders and priorities.

Job description

Role Purpose

Manage end-to-end logistics and distribution for an FMCG/D2C business, ensuring timely, cost-effective movement of raw materials, finished goods and customer orders across manufacturing, warehouse and distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end logistics from manufacturing/warehouse to distributors, customers and retail/commerce channels.
• Plan dispatches and distribution based on demand, inventory, customer orders and business priorities.
• Manage logistics for Quick Commerce, Modern Trade, General Trade, D2C/E-commerce and Distributor/Super Stockist channels.
• Ensure timely replenishment, order fulfilment, delivery adherence and resolution of delivery issues.
• Manage primary and secondary transportation, including vehicle planning, route optimisation, load consolidation and freight cost control.
• Coordinate with warehouses for picking, packing, loading, dispatch, inventory movement and reconciliation.
• Manage transporters, 3PL, courier and logistics partners and monitor their SLA/KPI performance.
• Monitor order-to-dispatch and order-to-delivery performance, RTO/NDR, shortages, damages, returns and customer escalations.
• Drive logistics cost optimisation while maintaining service levels.
• Prepare and monitor daily/weekly/monthly logistics MIS and KPIs and provide performance reports to management.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Warehouse, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Service teams.

On-Time Delivery/Dispatch, Order Fill Rate, Order-to-Delivery Lead Time, Transportation Cost, Freight Cost, Vehicle Utilisation, Delivery SLA, Quick Commerce Fill Rate, D2C Fulfilment, RTO/NDR, Inventory & Dispatch Accuracy, 3PL/Transporter Performance and Customer Complaints.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any relevant discipline; MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations will be an advantage.
• 812 years of experience in Logistics, Distribution or Supply Chain.
• Strong experience in FMCG/D2C/Consumer Products, preferably with manufacturing units, warehouses and distribution networks.
• Hands-on experience in Quick Commerce, Modern Trade, General Trade, D2C/E-commerce and Distributor/Super Stockist networks.
• Experience managing high-volume, multi-SKU operations, 3PLs, transporters, warehouses and distribution partners.
