Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking an experienced Ware House & Logistics Manager to lead packing, dispatch, packaging inventory, transport management, and team operations at the unit level in Mumbai.

The role emphasizes uninterrupted packing and dispatch planning, SAP-based booking and inventory control, safety and SOP adherence, and cost-effective logistics. You will manage drivers, contractors, and shift teams while driving performance through MIS reporting and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience of 8–10 years in warehouse and logistics operations.
• Graduate with PG in Supply Chain preferred.
• Experience with SAP booking and inventory control is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee packing, dispatch planning, and packaging quality per SOP.
• Manage outward dispatch, vehicle placement, documentation, and QA/Warehouse coordination.
• Lead safety, hygiene, and SOP adherence for workers and drivers.
• Coordinate transport operations, GPS tracking, and rate negotiations.
• Supervise contractor workforce, training, and discipline on shop floor.
• Monitor packing machine PM and ensure readiness before shifts.
• Prepare MIS reports on GPS, detention, bonuses/penalties, and logistics performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain availability and control of packaging material; SAP booking and physical verification.
• Manage outward dispatch, vehicle placement, documentation, and coordination with QA/Warehouse.
• Drive safety, hygiene, and shift-wise SOP adherence for workmen and drivers.
• Handle transport operations, GPS tracking, freight control, and rate negotiation.
• Lead contractor workforce, training, supervision, and discipline on shop floor.
• Monitor PM of packing machines and ensure machine readiness before shifts.
• Prepare MIS reports: GPS, detention, bonus/penalty, and logistics performance.
