Job summary

SIDEL is seeking a Logistics Leader in Pune, India, to manage inbound and outbound logistics for project-based machine manufacturing and export operations. The role ensures compliance with global trade regulations, internal policies, and local statutes, balancing execution with strict compliance.

Key duties include coordinating shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and working with CHA, freight forwarders, and customs to achieve timely, compliant deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations.
• 5-8 years of logistics experience in capital equipment, machine manufacturing, or project-based organizations.
• Hands-on experience in export/import operations and trade compliance execution.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP logistics processes and ERP systems; SAP SD/MM/WM proficiency.
• High attention to detail and documentation discipline.
• Compliance-first mindset with execution focus.
• Practical knowledge of trade compliance, customs regulations, export controls, and INCOTERMS.

Responsibilities

• Execute inbound logistics, monitor in-transit materials, and complete documentation.
• Execute dispatch of SIDEL machines, modules, kits, and spare parts for domestic and international customers.
• Support project-based shipments, including phased deliveries and site-specific logistics requirements.
• Coordinate packing, labeling, and handling for oversized, high-value, and export-controlled equipment.
• Ensure compliance with SIDEL Global Trade Compliance policies and export/import regulations.
• Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and customs authorities for compliant clearance; ensure timely payments.
• Maintain accurate and audit-ready export/import documentation including invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, BoL/AWB, and compliance records.
• Support internal and external trade compliance audits and corrective actions; assist restricted party screening and embargo checks.
• Track logistics costs including freight, packaging, detention, and demurrage.

Your Mission

• Execute inboundlogistics, monitor in-transit materials and complete documentation

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain,Logistics, or Operations
• 5-8 years of experience in logistics withincapital equipment, machine manufacturing, or project-based engineering organization.
• Hands-on experience in export/import operations and tradecompliance execution
• Strongworking knowledge of SAP logistics processes.ERP knowledge. SAP (SD/MM/WM) transaction proficiency.
