Job summary

Red Envelope Consultants in Ahmedabad seeks a seasoned logistics leader to manage international and domestic cargo, ensuring regulatory compliance and seamless supply chain flow.

You will oversee end-to-end documentation, DGFT, customs, and vendor coordination, with SAP experience and proficiency in E-Sanchit/ICEGATE. This role collaborates with Sales, Production, Finance to optimize costs.

Qualifications

• Experience with EXIM policy and regulatory affairs.
• Strong knowledge of import/export documentation and LC/shipping instructions.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external service providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end import and export operations with regulatory compliance.
• Plan and coordinate air/sea freight and oversee carrier relationships.
• Manage documents, clearances, and payment methods across borders.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, CHA, freight forwarders, and authorities for timely clearance.

Job description

Job Purpose: To lead and manage the logistics operations for international and domestic cargo, ensuring seamless movement of import/export consignments with full compliance to regulatory, commercial, and quality standards. The candidate will oversee the entire logistics value chain and support the business goals with efficient planning, execution, and vendor coordination.

Location: Ahmedabad

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Import & Export Documentation in accordance with international trade regulations.
• Ensure effective cargo movement strategies including air/sea freight planning and coordination.
• Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHA, and CFS , DGFT ,Custom ,GST , CFA authorities for timely clearance and dispatch.
• Monitor Port and ICD operations, ensuring cost-effective and timely cargo handling.
• Handle DGFT clearances, duty drawback, and duty verification procedures.
• Operate proficiently on E-Sanchit, and manage online documentation submissions.
• Oversee Bill of Lading issuance, cargo insurance, and verify compliance with REX registration, EPC slab requirements, and country-specific export policies.
• Manage and resolve issues related to after & safer container countries and country-specific regulatory norms.
• Ensure compliance with international payment methods, Incoterms, and currency regulations.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Production, Finance, etc.) for demand fulfillment and cost optimization.
